Heung-Fai Lung studied the violin with Kek-Han Lim and Vincent Frittelli in Hong Kong; Alberto Lysy, Sandor Vegh, and Sir Yehudi Menuhin in Switzerland; and Josef Sivo at the Hochschule fuer Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, where he graduated with distinction in 1988. Since then, he has performed as soloist with various orchestras in Europe and Hong Kong, and was concertmaster with the Theater des Landeshauptstadt St. Poelten. Lung is currently assistant concertmaster of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, leader of the Hong Kong Chamber Ensemble, and instructor at the Hong Kong Baptist University.
