HotSauce (previously known as Project X) results from Apple research into alternative user interfaces. HotSauce uses MCF (Meta-Content Format) files to represent XSpaces, which give a spatial or 3D representation of hierachical data, such as a Web site or hard drive. These files sre read by an application or Web browser plug-in. To find out more about HotSauce visit Apple's site for it at http://mcf.research.apple.com/.

Use keyboard modfier keys to change the direction and rate at which you fly. You need a plug-in capable brwoser and a HotSauce plug-in to view it. The HotSauce plug-in for MacOS and Windows and the HotSauce application are available here.
