26 September 95 This is the very first original creation by me on the computer. (Earlier ones were just clip art, scribbling or filling in colors.) I did this one at my own go one evening without warning. Mom was so proud of this surprise creation. I didn't have the best control of the mouse yet, so I told her this is Mom winking, and ... angry too! I laughed ... and Mom could only give me her wryful smile, just like the drawing!

Now some guest artists on show. Here are two beautiful drawings by my good friend Vivienne Mok (age 9):
21 Apr 95 There is a small bug in this picture. No cause for alarm - it's not a computer bug! See if you can find it. Send me email and I'll let Vivienne know. |
8 July 95 Vivienne teaches me how to draw beautiful pictures. She went to school in Paris, France, for a number of years and is now in Hong Kong going to the French International School. I will start school in September when I'm three, and I just want to draw more, more pictures.

Congratulations go to Astrid Martland for being the first visitor to find the bug in the drawing Printemps. You can go visit Astrid's delightful home page and see her drawings.
Here's Astird's first drawing, just like the one I drew Mom. And my cousin Ming Ka's favorite cartoon characters from the show Ding Dong.
Look, in both our first pictures we drew girls with heads tilted to the left. You can see from our drawings that all kids' first drawings look similar in style too. |

8 October 95 Ming Ka drew Ding Dong and friends all from memory and in one breath using the mouse - with such skill that I can only marvel at. You can click to find out about Ding Dong if you don't know him yet.
